A modern, construction and engineering technique called ‘Rubblization’, is used to break up old existing concrete slabs into small pieces and to left them at its current location to create a base for new pavement. This innovative for Poland technique in roads rehabilitation is less expensive than removal and replacing concrete, reduces the construction/reconstruction time, reduce negative impact on road users and provide large savings to investors. Moreover, what is also very important, the rubblisation is an environmentally friendly, mostly due to the fact that the concrete slabs are reused and there is no need to storage them on a landfills.
