World Car Free Day

The idea to celebrate the World Car Free Day was born in 2000 on the initiative of the European Commission. On this day, drivers all over the world are encouraged to use public transport or bicycle for free. Reducing the number of cars on our city streets means to reduce the amount of exhaust fumes in the air, promote environmental ideas and encourage people to alternative means of transport
